A Guide to Materials & Thoughtful Care
Considered Fabrics, Intentional Craftsmanship, Lasting Wear
At hello ronron, knitwear is shaped with attention to form, movement, and time—pieces designed to adjust with you, settling into routine, evolving with wear.
Every material is chosen not only for its feel but for how it holds—balancing softness with structure, flexibility with form, ensuring garments become an effortless presence in everyday life.
Care is an extension of design. With thoughtful handling, knitwear preserves its integrity, adapting to wear through seasons and years.

Thoughtful Wear
Care & Longevity
Fabric doesn’t just last—it settles, adapts, and shapes itself over time.
Understanding how fibers evolve ensures garments maintain their integrity, moving intuitively through wear. Thoughtful care allows knitwear to soften, refine, and remain a timeless presence in your personal style.
Wash with Like Colours
Washing deeper shades separately preserves clarity in lighter pieces, allowing garments to retain their intended hues over time.
Turn Inside Out
Turning garments inside out protects surface texture, minimizing friction and reducing subtle signs of wear. Fasten buttons and zips to maintain fabric integrity.
Use Low Temperature
Gentle washing at up to 40ºC with low spin cycles ensures fibres remain soft and responsive. Avoid tumble-drying to maintain structure and feel.
Avoid Overloading
Allowing space for garments to move helps fibres settle naturally, ensuring an even rinse while keeping textures refined. Filling the machine up to 75% capacity supports both efficiency and garment longevity.
Care Steps

Step 1
Washing
- Hand Wash
For the gentlest care, hand wash in clean water (below 40ºC) with mild laundry liquid. Avoid prolonged soaking to help retain the knit’s shape.
- Machine Wash
If using a washing machine, turn garments inside out and place them in a laundry bag for protection. Use a low spin cycle (up to 40ºC) and wash with similar colours to maintain richness in the knit. Avoid bleach or harsh detergents.

Step 2
Drying
Do not tumble dry or dry clean—excess heat or chemicals can weaken fibres over time.
Lay flat to air dry naturally, allowing the garment to maintain its sculpted form. Avoid hanging while damp, as this may lead to stretching.
A low spin cycle helps reduce excess moisture before air drying.

Step 3
Storage
Before storing, ensure garments are clean and fully dried.
Knitwear should be folded and placed on shelves or in drawers—hanging can cause stretching over time. A cool, dry space with air circulation prevents wrinkles and helps fibres breathe.
For finishing, iron inside out on low heat to smooth fabric while preserving its softness.
